Thinking About This Photograph

 This photograph was taken in Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

 The Tsukiji area is home to the famous “Tsukiji Outer Market”, but this photograph was taken in an area with many houses.

 This photo was taken of the wall of a condominium with no features, but I was attracted to the impressive inorganic and orderly exposed concrete walls and planting, and released the shutter.

 The photograph only shows windows, pipes, exhaust hoods and plants, but they are in very good condition.

 Sometimes I’m attracted to broken and dirty things, but in this case I’m attracted to things that are tidy.

 This photo is monotonous, but since it was taken using Rollei Retro 80s film, I think that the tight shadow tone has an impact due to its film characteristics.
