Thinking About This Photograph
This photograph was taken in Nihonbashi-Ningyocho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
The house in this photograph is a wooden house where it is not clear whether it is a private house, a store, or a house that is closed and used as a house.
The exterior material of the wooden wall is eye-catching.
This is the “Japanese traditional wooden house”.
I wanted to express the texture of such a wooden wall, so I finished it so that the shadow details would be rich.
Unless the exposure is underexposed, a solid black cannot be expressed.
Since the developer uses PMK pyro stain developer, the shadow detail is improved even in straight printing at the time of printing. (There are various opinions …)
