Thinking About This Photograph

This photograph was taken in Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

There are still old private houses in Tsukiji 7-chome.

There seems to be a residential entrance in the back between these buildings, and a bicycle was also placed in the back of the alley.

In Japan, where the land is small, it is no wonder that this narrow alley is a route to the entrance.

This building looks like a private house, but it may have been a store before.

There are many dwelling with shops in central Tokyo.

I think that most of them are currently out of business and are used as houses.

It’s no wonder that there are so many “Inari Shrines” in Tokyo that are the gods of business.

For the development of the roll film on which this photograph was taken, we used the Sakagawa-type developer, which is a self-prepared developer.

It was still under test, but depending on the shooting frame, there were some good ones including this one.
