Thinking About This Photograph

 This photograph was taken at the Tsukiji Outer Market in Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

 The shooting date and time is Sunday afternoon, which is a busy time for tourists.

 The reason why this photograph is not lively is that it is taken in a back alley that is a little out of the Tsukiji Outer Market.

 In this narrow back alley, you’ll find fish-related companies and popular fish set restaurants known to those in the know.

 This photograph was taken at the entrance of a fish sales company that is closed on Sundays.

 A large bucket and a container are placed in front of an old and cheap building with a silver-colored aluminum sliding door on the outer wall of galvanized iron, making it a holiday-like landscape.

 In the early hours of the morning on weekdays, you can probably see many people walking through this narrow alley and busy working.

 This photograph was developed using PMK Pyro developer at the usual development temperature, development time, and agitation.

 The tight black color is produced thanks to the characteristic curve of the Rollei Retro 80s film.

 Rollei Retro 80s has become an indispensable film for me now.
