Thinking About This Photograph

This photo was taken in May 1993 in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

I’m not sure where it was shot, but I think it was a coffee shop in the showroom of “TEPCO“(electric power company).

This showroom is no longer in Ginza.

The fact that the “TEPCO” showroom was in the center of Ginza seems useless when I think about it now.

The floor tile pattern inside the coffee shop is reminiscent of an American diner.

I took a picture of a couple chatting at the coffee shop.

The Leica M2 was a fun camera to take snapshots.
