Thinking About This Photograph<\/h3>\n

\u00a0This photograph was taken early in the “Alley” series.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0It was taken in a slightly lonely alley on the east side of “Showa-Street” that passes through Ginza.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Four air conditioner outdoor units are neatly arranged on the back side wall of the building, and gas meters are arranged together with piping under them.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0And in front of it is a bicycle with a cover.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The bicycle is covered, so it seems that it is always on the spot.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0This is a back alley, so no one seems to complain.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0When I’m shooting, people sometimes come into what seems to be a back door.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0It may seem like a lonely building, but since it is a prime location in Ginza, you can see the flow of people.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Regarding the photograph, the actual scenery is a little brighter, but by setting the exposure a little underexposed, I made the whole darker and made the gas meter in the highlight part stand out.<\/span><\/p>\n
