This photograph was taken in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0This is a photograph of the mailbox behind the “Dentsu Ginza Building” in Ginza 7-chome.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0At that time, the head office of “Dentsu”, a major Japanese advertising agency, was located in the “Dentsu Ginza Building”.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The “Dentsu Ginza Building” was completed in 1933 and is an 8-story building that was 88 years old. It seems that it was the tallest building in Ginza at that time.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0For some reason, this building has a mailbox on the back of the building.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I was attracted to such a strange landscape and released the shutter.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0In addition, the dark tones of the tiled building exterior add a nice touch to the photo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0As a photographic technique, the exposure is set to be slightly underexposed in order to take advantage of the dark tones of the tiles.<\/span><\/p>\n
