Thinking About This Photograph<\/h3>\n

\u00a0This photo was taken in Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I photographed the entrance of a Japanese cultural house in an area where many old houses in Tsukiji 7-chome still remain.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0It is a “machiya-style” house with a front door facing the road, and has a small eaves at the front door.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The old mortar wall adds a nice touch to the front door.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Since the sash is made of silver-colored aluminum, I imagine it was built around 1970, but at that time it was probably the most fashionable house.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Even now, the aluminum material doesn’t feel so old.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I found the contrast between the aluminum sash and the mortar wall interesting, so I took a picture of it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The wall pattern drawn by the aging of nature is ideal for the subject of a photograph!<\/span><\/p>\n
