\u00a0This photograph was taken in Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0This traditional Japanese house is a “Kyomachiya” structure that can be seen in Kyoto, but it was never shot in Kyoto or Kawagoe.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I’m shooting in Tsukiji, the center of Tokyo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0This building was built around 1932 in the urban reconstruction plan after the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0This building is a rental property and was vacant at the time of shooting.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Perhaps, for businesses such as sake sales, old Japanese houses are suitable as stores.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0This Japanese house does not face the main street and there are not many people, so it may be difficult to decide on a tenant.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0It’s a rental property, so it’s an old house, but it’s well maintained.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I think that the exterior wall material using solid wood board is suitable for the subject of film photography.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0This is because the wood grain tone can make your photos look attractive.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I hope that new Japanese housing will be more tasteful.<\/span><\/p>\n
