Thinking About This Photograph<\/h3>\n

\u00a0This photograph was taken in Nihonbashi-Ningyocho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I took a photograph in the alley where “Yoshiwara Yukaku” used to be in Nihonbashi-Ningyocho.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The wall of this building is the side wall of the liquor store, and a beer case and a trash can for waste collection are placed under the bay window.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Since this alley is not wide enough for cars to pass through, I think that the shop staff will put this trash can on the main street “Omon-dori” when a garbage collection car arrives.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The walls have a mortar finish and some cracks have been repaired, but they remain beautiful despite the years.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I think that the texture of the mortar wall is also clearly shown in the photograph.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0When shooting in alleys, it is often dark all the time, and I want to narrow down the aperture as much as possible, so I always have to be careful about camera shake, but this photograph seems to have managed to suppress camera shake.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The sensitivity of the film I’m using is as low as ISO80, but I often think that I should use ISO400 film, but I hesitate because I can’t express the texture with high-sensitivity film.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0However, I’m thinking of testing the Rollei RETRO 400S once.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I would like to report again when good development data is obtained.<\/span><\/p>\n
