Thinking About This Photograph<\/h3>\n

\u00a0The place where the photograph was taken is Tsukiji 2-chome, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0When you enter the narrow alley, you will find Japanese restaurants and old taverns.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The pure Japanese-style wooden structure in this photograph is a Japanese restaurant, but it has a tasteful lattice window and bamboo work “Inuyarai” (to protect the outer wall of the house from dog pee).\u00a0 It now serves as a cover for the outdoor unit.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I’m glad that there are still such buildings in the city center of Tsukiji, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0I shot it with a little underexposure so that I could express the texture of the wood.<\/span><\/p>\n
